A Local Inclusive Football Academy for Children with SEND!

Inclusive football is aimed at helping anyone who needs extra support to play the game. This could be due to a physical, neurological, SEN or wellbeing need. We believe football should be for all and we work hard to break down any barriers players may face.

Welcome to a unique and fresh approach to Pan-Disability Football Coaching, launching right here on your doorstep! 

Goalden Football Academy has been created by local couple Tim & Emma Brown who both have extensive local experience in SEND secondary education. Tim is a multi award winning Disability Football Coach with an incredible 40 years experience of coaching at all levels of the game. But for Tim & Emma, Goalden Football Academy is not only about local teenagers with SEND scoring goals - it’s about them achieving their life goals too.

Every Friday night from 6pm to 7pm, on our brand new 3G pitch. Lockers and Changing Rooms available for you to use too! Friday evening training is the perfect, positive way for your child to burn off energy, decompress after a long week of school and kick off the weekend on a high note!

For Goalden Football Academy to be constantly developing young footballing talent in players with SEND from ages 12 - 16, that also follow their chosen post-16 pathway into further education, training or employment.

To be making a tangible difference to the lives of young players – not just as footballers but as people.

Safety, Inclusion & Accessibility

A Personal Commitment to the Highest Standards of Player Care at all times, with Health & Safety, Safeguarding, Codes of Conduct, Diversity and Photography & Use of Imagery policies all in place and available on our website.

Our Facilities: Our brand new world class venue is accessible, safe, and includes quiet spaces/rooms if a player ever becomes overwhelmed.

First Aid: Our Coaches and the venue staff are all first aid trained, there are up to date 1st aid kits with every group & in the main building, and defibrillators are on site too.

Individual Player Passports: Every child will have a tailored profile detailing their specific triggers, communication preferences, and a voice in how we can help them to stay regulated in order that they enjoy their football.

Safeguarding: Every Coach has an up to date Personal Development Plan to ensure that they have current safeguarding, child protection & DBS certificates, and we have a zero-tolerance policy with regards to bullying.
